1st Edition

Iasi, Romania, 10.05 - 18. 05. 2014

Open A - General, swiss system, 9 rounds
Open B - general, swiss system, 9 rounds, for juniors under 12 years old (born after 01.01.2002)
Open C – blitz chess competition open to any player, regardless of age.
The game system Open A: the time control will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one.
Players may only agree to a draw after the 30th move has been made by black. Players violating this rule will be forfeited according to the FIDE Laws of Chess.

Prize found: 25.000 EUR (1 EUR = 4,4 LEI)
- Open A – 21.000 EUR
- Open B – 1.500 EUR
- Open C – 2.500 EUR
Prizes are guaranteed no metter the number of players and their distribution, as is shown in Annex.
Romanian tax fee will be aplied for the prizes above 600 LEI. (20,35% tax fee).

2. Teachers Hotel 2 ** + T. Vladimirescu: 10 EUR / day
3. Ceramica Hotel ** 2 +: 10 EUR / day
4. Apartments in Il Primo 3 *** (for 4 people): 50 EUR / day; (for 2 people): 30 EUR / day
5 Hotel Moldova 3 *** (accommodation + 3 meals): 35 EUR / day
Meals can be served at 9 EUR / day  (restaurant-cafeteria) or 12 EUR / day (restaurant)

After 01 May 2014 the entry fee wil increase by 30%.
